Air Force ROTC | Detachment 940 | University of Wyoming

Detachment 940 of the Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) was established at the University of Wyoming in Laramie in July of 1952 under Lieutenant Colonel Thompson.
The UW Air Force ROTC program provides men and women the opportunity to become Air Force officers while completing a college degree.  In addition, the program prepares men and women to assume positions of increasing responsibility and importance in the modern Air/Space Force.
Air Force ROTC offers two routes to an Air/Space Force commission - The Air Force ROTC Three-Year Program or the Four-Year Program.
To qualify for ROTC, you must be a United States citizen, be physically qualified, successfully pass the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT), be of good moral character and attend both Aerospace Studies and Leadership Laboratory.
