UWAM regularly hosts programming for the community in conjunction with our current exhibitions and visiting artists. From the Salvagio Artist Talk series, hands-on creative workshops, to intimate one-on-one tours and conversations with artists and curators, the Laramie community and all of Wyoming are welcome at UWAM to experience all the arts have to offer.

Join UWAM for a celebration of our fall exhibitions, including: Harold Garde at 100: The Unseen Works in Two Acts, Neltje: The Collector, Binnie in Context: Woodblock Prints from the Collection, Staff Selects, and Brian Burkhardt: Take Heed. Enjoy food, live music, and a celebration.

Join artist Wendy Lemen Bredehoft for a two-day workshop on Harold Garde's monotype technique called strappo, created by layering paint on glass.

Join the education team from Relative Theatrics for a unique workshop integrating the paintings of Harold Garde. Participants will use faces depicted in Garde's paintings to develop theatrical dialogue and learn to write short scenes with Relative Theatrics teaching artists.

UWAM will host a Fall Date Night and dance party in the Garde exhibition gallery. A silent disco involves all participants wearing headphones playing the same music, but there is no external amplification. Enjoy food, dancing, art-making, and more.

UWAM's annual series of events celebrating the winter season. Activities include a finals week decompressor to UW students, a Community Celebration of Lights, family-friendly art-making activities, performances, and more.
