Frequently Asked Questions

While we work closely with our College of Education colleagues, we also have the pleasure of working with several science labs (e.g., the Monteith Shop and the Laughlin lab), science education groups (e.g., LAMP), and interdisciplinary grants (e.g., EPSCoR) on campus. We encourage you to look at their wonderful work and to reach out to us with questions about the work we do with them, including products and resources they’ve generated for K-12 use.
Two of our graduate-level programs aim to support in-service teachers around Wyoming while they work full-time (middle-level math and middle-level science). Our other graduate-level program (master of science in teaching) is designed to be customizable to students with interest in sciences and/or mathematics and teaching in formal or non-formal settings. Reach out to or Ana Houseal ( with questions about any of these programs.
Please reach out to Anna Payne ( about Mathematics PD offerings. Reach out to Martha Inouye ( about Science PD offerings. We encourage you to look at our PD page for more information, too. We update them regularly with resources and open enrollment PD opportunities.
