Get Your Land Surveying Certificate Today!

The UW land surveying certificate is a distance learning program that offers a 30-hour Cadastral Survey Certificate or minor in land surveying. The minor can be attached to the online UW Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Organizational Leadership or any UW degree. We also serve professional licensed land surveyors, or people who want to pursue licensure, in Wyoming or any other jurisdiction and need to take additional classes to meet application requirements.

Offered entirely online, through various platforms, the land surveying program is designed for working professionals and allows you to maintain your current job while earning the certificate on your schedule.

About Land Surveying

The Cadastral Survey Certificate emphasizes boundary law, particularly as it pertains to the Western United States. Offered 100 percent online, the UW program gives you the preparation and educational requirements necessary for the Fundamentals of Surveying Exam. In states requiring a bachelor’s degree for licensure, you can attach the land surveying minor to UW’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership degree that’s also available online. If you already have earned a degree, our online land surveying program can provide you with the courses you need to complete the academic requirements of your jurisdiction for licensure.

This means students can apply any time leading up to the next available semester start date. Everyone has been great to work with—from the folks in the local office here to the instructors. It wasn’t easy to go back after so many years, but it’s been a great experience, thanks to these people.
